I fell in love with the Mendocino Coast in 1976. As a U.C. Davis graduate, my career path had progressed from managing libraries for the University of California to analyzing programs for the State of California. I left my city life and job to live where I wanted to live, and I have never regretted that decision. On the coast, I became a medical office manager, married a master wood carver, had two daughters, and created a homestead on a ridge top overlooking Anderson Valley.
When my daughters became less dependent, I found time to educate myself for a new career as a REALTOR®, promoting the area that I love. I chose to affiliate with Coast Real Estate because of their reputation in the community for honesty, real estate knowledge, and environmental conscience. Our broker served for years as president of the Mendocino Land Trust, which conserves in perpetuity significant lands throughout Mendocino County. I served as a founding member and spokesperson for Neighbors Against Herbicides from 1995-1996, was president of the Rancho Navarro Homeowners Association in the late 1980's, served for several years as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Anderson Valley Chamber of Commerce, and currently serve on the Board of Directors of the Anderson Valley Housing Association. Because I live in Anderson Valley, I focus much of my energy on valley properties, but I spend a lot of my time in our Mendocino Office. I list and sell properties along the entire Mendocino Coast, as well as inland through the Anderson Valley and Comptche areas. I am constantly learning and educating myself to better serve my clients. I am trained and certified as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist®. I am also trained and certified to serve on our Professional Standards Review Committee. My favorite endorsement comes from my very first client, who said "You're not the typical real estate sales person, and I say that as a compliment." My goal ever since has been to continue providing my clients with thorough, organized service delivered with honesty and a sense of humor. Please let me know if I can be of assistance.
